Administered by the UT System Office of HUB Development and Federal Small Business Program, the purpose of the UT System Mentor Protégé Program is to advance the growth and development of minority and woman-owned businesses in Texas, foster long-term relationships between contractors/vendors and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), increase the ability of the HUB to contract with the state or to receive subcontracts under state contract as well as enable protégé companies to profitability perform in open competition.
We are a family-owned business delivering fine custom millwork since 2000. Our corporate office is located on Highway 6 on the southwest side of Houston. We operate a 40,000-square-foot building and employ 37 experienced millwork/casework specialists. Our facilities include a cutting area, an assembly room, and a finished product storage area where we can store components prior to installation.
We are more than just a full-spectrum millwork provider. Martinez Millwork, Inc. is a certified Texas (HUB) Historically Underutilized Business. We embrace leadership organizations to foster long-term partnerships and relationships through local and state HUB and women-owned business programs in Texas. AWI’s Quality Certification Program is an industry-recognized risk management tool that design professionals and building owners rely on to validate the skills and abilities of architectural woodworkers. By writing into contract documents that woodwork is to be certified by AWI you eliminate potential worry about woodwork woes at the very beginning of a project.
Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program
Martinez Millwork, Inc. has satisfied all of the requirements for certification and is a certified Texas HUB. The statewide HUB Program facilitates the use of HUBs in state procurement and provides them with information on the state’s procurement process.
